Things are always changing around my house.... since the last time I posted, the biggest change is the addition of a baby boy who is 8 months old now! (and crying now which is probably one of the biggest reasons I haven't been updating the blog!)
What spurred my interest in posting here? Well, I frogged a sock today. One that I finished quite some time ago - it was a bit big and so it sat all by itself, mateless. I could never bring myself to frog the work of something finished - afterall, I put so much time into it. Today, I decided if I wasn't going to knit the mate and it was too big anyhow - I was going to reclaim the yarn so it can be made into something else and used. And that is what I did. I'm feeling like a real knitter now. I can appreciate the work but can also feel good about taking it out if it just isn't right.
And can I say that I now feel that weaving in ends will actually work - it was so very hard to find the end and take it out. That was a discovery that I really liked and that will enable me to further enjoy the process without worry.

Good for your for making the decision to just FROG. Sometimes that can be super tough. I do hope you can find the perfect pattern for the reclaimed yarn!
Hi Sweetpea! Good to see you post. Froggin is hard for me, but I frogged the swiffer cover I had started (after saying I wasn't!) and got back on track with it last night. Now I just have the 3 tabs to knit, and biuttons to sew on--and I'll be done.
Thanks for the comment---everyone loves to feel loved! And you are too!
